Professional Bio
Julian Kaljuvee is a Director of Predictive Labs Ltd, an AI and Data Science consultancy based in the UK, and an AI engineer at Indurent, a £6bn+ Blackstone portfolio company where his responsibilities include supporting platform scale-up from a £700m REIT, supporting a multi-billion-pound merger integration, and embedding production AI capabilities across core business and investment functions. In a previous role as an AI Engineer with the Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) group at Microsoft, he delivered several AI-focused projects for international clients across a wide range of sectors, including Anglo American (mining, LSE:AAL), Ternium (NYSE:TX, steel production) as well as ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, energy). Other AI-related engagements included semiconductors (ARM Holdings, NASDAQ: ARM), biotech (Vaxart Inc., NASDAQ: VXRT), and financial services (London Stock Exchange Group, LSE: LSEG), rating agencies (Morningstar, NASDAQ: MORN), among others.
Julian’s early professional background was in investment banking in New York and London (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, UBS, JPMorgan), and he holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, and has studied probability theory and statistics at the master’s level at Columbia University in New York, NY.

- Worldremit - revenue / sales forecasting, cloud migration, reconciliation of EOD and EOM finance activities for a global Fintech.
- IKEA - data warehouse for group wide KPIs and business strategy planning for IKEA / INGKA group.
- Nomad Foods - developed and productionised media / marketing mix model (MMM) based on the industry standard Nielsen model to measure advertising / media effectiveness spend (ad stock decay, competitor data) for the largest frozen-food / FMCG retailer in Europe, marketing channels.
- Nandos - sales / demand forecasting, data infrastructure development / data lake, POS, loyalty, rota, weather, wifi and geolocation and delivery data integration for a major restaurant chain.
- DBRS Morningstar - supporting development and deployment of EU RMBS rating models for a leading global financial analytics and ratings provider integrating with European Data Warehouse (over 2bn records); model building and deployment: (i) data analysis / visualisation, (ii) data cleansing and transformation (data sets with over 100m records), (iii) model development, feature engineering and model evaluation with statsmodels, Logistic Regression, GAM and XGBoost, (iv) model deployment and productionisation with MLFlow (v) presentations to business stakeholders
